A campfire chat between Festival goers and a local Nimbin resident (Rex Walker) discussing a recent drug-bust during the Festival allegedly involving morphine. The group are trying to isolate the facts from the rumors that were flying around at the time. This vérité sequence (7' 22") is digitized from 40 year-old audio tapes recorded during the Aquarius Festival in May 1973.
The incident being discussed is the same event documented in Brendon Stretch's 12 minute film "Softly Bruised Sunshine" between 6' 27" and 8' 53". We hear this same local resident speaking in Brendon's film between 8' 53" and 9' 54" (immediately following the drug-bust sequence). See tile 4B.
